This is the one I recommend too. I have had several dropped when I plead not guilty in the mail due to poor paperwork on their end.
If you have to show up delay it as long as you can...other than that they have heard all the BS excuses. Go to traffic court and watch before you have to go...you will understand...they hear all the BS 1000x a day.
A clean record helps a real lot (the no you want to keep it clean), plead the affects of the high insurance costs, never adnit you were speeding.
Before you get pulled over say the minimum as it gets noted in the ticket.
Most states do not have to have cop at court and use the back of the ticket for the report...if they mess it up you get off.
I got nailed for 135 in a 55 in CT, I was moving to CO anyway. Delayed it until I got my new license, once I got it and chnaged insurance I plead guilty since they never went back to check the CT points after I gave it up. One expensive way to do it!
