Head Bolt Worries....

Alright...i've been thinking since my headbolt replacement, and i'm a bit worried.
So, the #7 and #8 bolts (the ones right by the timing chain) were covered in oil when I removed them. The way I did the replacement is that I started with #1, pulled it out, put in the new one, torq'd it to 40 Nm, went through all of them, then went back and torq'd them to 60Nm + 90 degrees. So, I don't think I let any oil through the head gasket during the process. Also, I don't believe i've had any oil loss during running the engine.
Is it normal to have oil on these bolts, or do I have a more severe problem that a retorque won't fix?
Thanks,
Chris
