Head removal

What is the secret to taking the head off of my '02 93? I searched earlier posts and found one where Dean said to remove the intake manifold, move it back and then pull the head out. I've tried doing this, but getting the bolts out of the intake manifold has not proven easy with the fuel rail in place. I managed to get all of them out of the top, but there is one in particular on the bottom that seems to be impossible to get at. Even if I were to get it out, I can't imagine how I would put it back on without bunging up the gasket, or getting a torque wrench on the bolts for correct tension. The Haynes manual says to remove the head with both manifolds attached -- I've already taken the exhaust off, but there are so many connectors/hoses that have to be removed to take the intake off this doesn't seem like an attractive option either.
What's the easiest way to do this?
