Just replaced the one on fiance's 2000 SE HOT w/ 99,000 mi. We actually got a CEL for the CPS intermittently. Don't recall the code, but check other posts from me.
TEST: Drive car to warm up, park in your garage (important b/c it probably won't start again for a while). Ground a test light or volt meter put other lead on Fuel Pump Fuse in driver side fusebox (if you pull fuse touch top of the connection). Turn ignition to ON, you should see 12 volts (or light on) for a few seconds. Now crank... if you get no volts or light, replace the $40 CPS. Also see 9/29/05 post by Richard.
Bit of a pain to get at the thing, can give you some pointers if needed.
Steve
