bar between the metal piece that comes off the pass. side of the block and the frame rail - lifted the engine on pass side (4x4 under block - no oil pan) then undid the trans. mount so it would rotate about the rear trans. mount - worked great and got cyl1 up in the air and rotated counterclockwise enough to slip the oil pan off - the timing chain tensioner plastic piece top was snapped off, and I now see you have to completely remove the balance shaft chain (already removed tensioner) to get the lower gear and aformentioned plastic piece off... So I've marked the balance gears and corresponding chain spots w/ a spring punch (dots) w/ 2 on the idler so I can put the chain back on EZ - Now I've got to go get a T35 so I can remove that idler instead of removing either balance shaft sprockets w/ T40...
Once I find my USB cable I can post pics for everyone
