Thanks for the comments. I tried JB weld on the hairline crack waited 24hrs, installed the drain plug and torqued to 20lbs, hairline crack reappeared, still leaks but less. (JB weld did not work). I removed the drain plug and wrapped the threads with teflon tape, also I wrapped the copper washer around the circumference several times with the teflon tape, reinstalled, still get a little drip, afraid it will be worse under pressure and hot oil. The Fumoto valve looks like my next move, maybe if I install it with permanent locktite and epoxy (JB weld) around the outside, this might work. Because this would be "permanent" I don"t think I would have to worry about the expoxy cracking again under torque. I know this is "low budget" but money is tight here in the Detroit area. Thanks again.
