1995 900S Convertible - 180,000 miles - Automatic
new cap, rotor, wires, pluggs.
The car is a slug to begin with, but yesterday it was 100 degrees out and I lost almost all power. Accelerating from a stoplight I had to floor the pedal to get the car to move. Pressing the gas pedal like normal the car does not accelerate. Flooring it gets it to take off. Weird.
Car starts and idles fine. Does not stall. Just no power.
I let it cool off and then took it back out later in the evening - it was fine. Today I took it out and drove it a bit, still fine. This only happens when the car has been out for about an hour driving in city traffic in high temperatures.
Ideas?
Thanks!
