01 93SE 88,000......had symptom a year ago, replaced purge valve. Had DIC changed on recall. After 1st stall car will start right up and be fine for the day no matter how often I start it. I was thinking plugs, but why only at 1st start up I would think plugs would cause constant symptom. I can start the car and rev to eliminate stall, but usually it starts, sputters and then stalls. Any idea's??

Also, could someone tell me how the car controls the RPM's....meaning sometimes when the car sputters it corrects itself by going to higher rpm's and then when engine settles down ir lowers to normal 800 or so....computer controlled??
