Just my opinion, but if you are still on your first sets of rotors with the 2000 Viggen, then there probably isn't a need to upgrade to anything beyond OEM. Taliaferro has good prices on the stock rotors. Also do a search, but some here have successfully had their rotors turned without problem which is much cheaper than buying new rotors. The weak point in the Viggen's braking is the cheap single piston clamp style calipers. I can't envision a different metalurgy in the rotors is going to make much difference with that style of caliper...
As for myself with my 2000 Viggen, I'm on my second set of front rotors and 4th set of pads all around. But mines seen some "heavy braking" track use that burns through the brakes and the rules won't let me upgrade without jumping up a class or two. The OEM pads were the worst for dusting, but better than my ceramic ones at actually braking. I liked the greenstuff pads, but burned them (literally) on the track.
Swapping them is an easy job and Dean has a good writeup somewhere in this forum. Takes me about an hour to do all four.
