It's not a Saab code and a Saab scan tool might translate that one to another number.
The code for CMP sensor is usually P0340 and yes if the code is really indicating a bad cam sensor, it could be due to the incorrect IDM.
We just don't know enough of/if any problems will occur with black on red.
First action would be to get the code translated by another scantool and see what comes up.
