It sucks when you can't be sure what’s going on with the tires and you need to question what happened. If the car was good before and should be only better when balanced not undrivable. Sometimes in the past when questioning what has occurred during balancing and the ride has become unsatisfactory. I jack up one of the front wheels at a time and have a friend place the car in drive with the rear wheels blocked and observe the behavior of the wheel in the air. It becomes apparent if there is a balancing problem, if at idle its bouncing they are way off and I then take that wheel back. You will also able to see if things are straight and the uniformity of the tire.
Do you have your tire summer and winter tires on separate rims. Do to the issues with balancing and whit it take to get it correct its better to have separate rims.
What make model of tire and mileage.
900set97, sedan, automatic, 175k miles, Massachusetts, my turbo is causing blue smoke.
