This post also goes to show the problem we encounter in the repair business almost every day in that we don't get the whole story from the customer when they drop off the car.
Sometimes it is the service writer not asking the right questions or have the wrong attitude and sometimes it is the customer not wanting to tell us.
Some customers have the belives that if they don't say to much it will be cheaper for them when instead, it will take us more time to find the problem compared to if they had told us what had been done before.
Sometimes when the problem is found and repaired, the customer opens up to us and fill us in at all the things that if we had known before, it would have been a breeze.
I put together a basic auto tips page on my website just for this.
It will be fun to hear what the shop has to say about the plug repair.
