The fuel pump may well be fine, but the fuel system may not be holding pressure. It might be something as simple as the gas cap or as painful as the check valve in the fuel return line. I say "painful" because I had to replace the one in my 94 and it involved dropping the gas tank.
Go back to the dealership and have them measure the fuel system pressure (not the fuel pump pressure). Turn off the car while the gauges are attached and see how long it takes to drop to zero. That will give you a clue.
