How does it sound 'fuel starved'? How do you tell the difference vs. flooded?
If it's repeatable, catch it sometime when it doesn't start. Keep trying until just before the point when it would start. (Easy for me to say, huh?) Then pull a spark plug & see if it's wet with fuel.
You can always try a bottle of Techron, but beyond that you'll want to know for sure whether it is actually dry vs. flooded.
