Make sure you didn't accidentally disconnect any vaccum hoses... as the hose to the MAP sensor is just under the IAC... disconnecting that will cause your computer to search for an impossible to find medium and cause your idle to go nuts!..
Also, once you have verified your IAC is connected correctly and all your hoses are intact and connected....
If still experiencing any issues... and willing, disconnect both positive and negative battery connections and (make sure power is out of system ie turn on lights leave on...) Rub both together a few times then put back on.........
Turn ignition key turning everything but the engine on... sit for a minute let the computer find itself.... and start.
Restarts the computer..........
