Shows how I have been keeping up, I did not know Litespeed made such a bike as titanium was their first love. I lived in Chattanooga TN in the late 80's where I met David Lynsky of Litespeed (dont know if I got that name spelled right). He was riding his titanium Litespeed and stopped to talk to me when he noticed me off loading a grubby 1987 vintage Diamond Back mountain bike out of the back of my new 900 SPG. He asked me if I enjoyed that type of riding and if I thought it would catch on and become the next big thing and if I thought a titanuim mountain bike would sell as he was considering making one. Of course, this was back before suspension, which kind of dampened the need for titanium for all but the purists. The rest is history.

I am building up a aluminum/carbon (chain and seat stays) Leader LD 785r frame for me and a aluminum/carbon six thirteen Cannondale for the wife. At the age of 51, after 40 years of riding it is time for compact cranksets (could not bear to be seen with a triple chainring on a road bike).

I sure wish I could have found a good Viggen when I looked 3 years ago. Now it is probably too late.
