You need a warm-hot day. Doors open, max cold setting, recirc off, fan on highest speed, hood up. This should keep the compressor on steady if it is hot enough out.
Go for 33 PSI.
Afterwards, if you are in a normal situation and put a temp probe into the dash vents with lower fan speeds, the temp should be around 40-45F. If you add too much gas and the low side pressure is higher, the boiling point will go up and the temperature will go up too. You do not want the evaporator to frost up, so you need to avoid lower pressures like 28-30 PSI.
If you look at the site gauge on the drier, not all years have that but 95 did, you will see mostly fluid with some bubbles. When properly charged there will be some bubbles. You cannot charge until you get fluid with no bubbles as this will probably be over 40 PSI. That would make cool but not cold air.
I did these things on a 95SET.
