Front Axle replacement

I have two questions.
First, my 98 900S has 112,000 miles on it. I need to replace the CV joints and thought I would replace the struts at the same time. The ball joints and bushings seem fine, but since I have to separate the ball joints to replace the axle I wonder if it might be best to replace them now.
Any thoughts on when to replace the control arms and tie rod ends?
Second question. Looking at eeuroparts.com, they list strut inserts by Boge and KYB. KYB is nearly half the price. Any quality or performance problems with KYB? is Boge that much better?
