hello all, you may remember me a couple months back posting on this board with timing chain issues, and a few other concers about my 1999 9-3 SE. Over the summer I had the engine replaced, I put Brembo slotted drilled rotors on all four corners, and I got some new Kuhmo Tires. I also bought (but haven;t installed) a manual boost control, and a forge Blow off valve. Both from Elk parts. I bought the cheaper blow off valve and the blanking plug, for my car so it woulkd seem that one of the hoses would need to be eliminated I tried to do the install myself, but When in stalled it sounds really bad. After looking at Elk partsit says Not sutable for trionic7 Cars. But list a 9-3 before 01' as acceptable for this application. any ideas? When installed it sounds like Puh-puh-puh. Could the fact my car is an auto effect this. The plastic (stock) valve I removed Is the L shaped one. I also bought a manual boost control and dont reaqlly know ware it goes. Seems pretty easy to install. I know the the blowoff valve isnt working because of split hoses I replaced all the rubber houses with sillicon ones. Any advive is welcome, thanks for reading!!!
