The only odd thing I can see is that it must be a fairly rare model.
Of all the cars I have logged, it is only 2 that matches the beginning digits of YS3DF38N???????? and both are 1996 900.
All the different 9-3 in my register have different configurations of DD55, DD58, DD78, DF55, DF75, DF78 and the Viggen with DP35/55.
So I wonder if the 5 or 7 has been mistaken for a 3.
Yes, the full VIN comes up as good in EPC but it is a lot of configurations that still comes up good when you changes around just one digit in EPC.
