Like SeeVTSaab said, check the torque on the bolts. but dont overtorque either (one are pushing down is fine, if you are stepping on the lug wrench, no good). if you thing the sudder is coming from the rear, there are another sets of pads for the parking brake that use the inside center rotor as a drum. when you loosen them to put on a new rotor and readjust, they may make some sound until it wears in... like a shudder. so it may be nothing. but since a dealler charges big $$, why not bust balls
