Except in my case. When I shut off the vehicle in the parking lot, all was well. It didn't start ten minutes later when I returned. Adding a blast of ether several times did nothing. I changed the crankshaft sensor and tried to start it and got nothing. Squirted in a little ether and viola the vehicle fired for 5 seconds. After some more troubleshooting, I replaced the fuel pump. So my issues were twofold and simultaneous. And I have to report that my 9/3 hasn't run this well since about 20,000 miles. Fuel mileage has returned as well. Now if I can cure the thirst for 2 quarts of oil every 1,000 miles, it will be better than new. By the most conservative measure, my 120,000 mile 9/3 is a lemon. All 5 of my previous C900's and well over one million miles have not given me 1/10th the grief this one 9/3 has.
