I had an incident like this happen at another central NJ indy. I had the car in for 90K service and requested they find the nail in my rear tire and plug the hole. When I picked the car up, they said they pulled the wheels off but could not find the nail(?!?!).
I drove back home. The next day I noticed that not only was the nail there, and very evident (it's the bright metallic thing between the treads!) but they had reinstalled my wheels with the unidirectional tires mounted BACKWARDS. Luckily, I was not raining the night I drove the car back home! Having the back end hydroplane would not have been fun.
I called them back after switching the tires back (with the flimsy Saab scissor -jack & spare in the parking lot... in the rain) and asked them if they were trying to kill me. After I explained, they were quite apologetic, but I never went back. It was too far a drive (over 1/2 hour) for merely adequate service. It turned out that going to the conveniently located stealer and paying higher prices was less of a hassle in the long run.
