Look inside the battery? for clouded cells!!! The ignition switch is two parts. The part that you lubed is just for the key and its tumblers. There's a electrical contact tumbler thats attached to the other end of the key tumbler and if this goes bad its time to replace. It is made up of multiple contacts to connect each circuit. The spray lube does nothing in lubricating this tumbler. Hey! see if the battery stays charged. If the problem happens again, my bets on the battery being bad.
