This is the situation. I lost my one and only key. Got a salvage TWICE and key. Got the dealership to mate everything up. They said that something was wrong with the twice.

So, for about the past week I have been starting the car with the "hold the trunk release" bypass because it does not accept my key. I read up on how to determine the # of keys/transponders that are married to your car, by pressing the trunk release while the car is set to ignition after clearing the "key not accepted" message. I was shocked to see, according to the SID, that there are 3 remotes programed to the car (the number I have), but next to the number of the transponders there was 0. So there are no transponders programmed to my car. I believe this is the problem, and the reason I get the "key not accepted" with every one of my 3 keys.

So, is this just a situation where the dealership didn't properly program my car, did they wipe the transponder code. Please help, any advice is greatly appreciated.
