I can't figure this one out... I get an average 30 mpg on a tank of regular gasoline, but when I switch to Premium, I get 26 mpg
I used to buy nothing but Premium, but as gas prices climbed, I started looking for ways to cut my costs... and one of those was to switch to regular and see what happens.
It's not a one time thing... I've been watching this for months now... Re-setting the computer when I fill the tank... I take it easy on the throttle, trying to squeeze every mile I can from a gallon of gas... Pissin' off drivers of Behemouth SUV's on the interstate by driving 70 mph... I expected to get a reduction in performance, but instead I get more miles per gallon, and pay less per tank full. What's up with that?
