I've read much in the archives about engine sludge in the 2.3 engine. I own an 01 Viggen with 117k. I have had no problems to date, but all of this has me very worried. I can check to see if the upgrade on the PCV has been done, but the obvious question is: ok, now what? If I do have sludge should I just park the car and bend over, or is there something that can be done. I am the second owner and from everything I can tell the oil was changed regularly. Is there a bunch of chemicals I can run through the engine? Should I pull the oil pan? Like I said, I do not have any problems that I can detect, and will have to verify whether that PVC mod was done. What next? Thanks, Gary
