So, trying to charge my A/C again (97 900SE) when it's completely empty, I'll put the gauges on the high and low side... compressor kicks on after about a 6 ounces of 134 is added, the pressure on the low side will go to around 60...and the high side will go to around 125... from what I'm reading, the low is very high and the high is pretty low... from this novices point of view it would look like the compressor isn't doing it's job, it won't take anymore freon at this point and the air it's blowing is warm, 80 degrees ambient by the way(evening in South Carolina)... I'm trying to understand more about the expansion valves function... seems like it may be a possibility as well. I have a can of flush and some new o rings I was thinking about working with in the morning.. disconnecting the compressor and squirting some flush followed by compressed air through the rest of the system(not the compressor)... Expansion valve problem? Hopefully?... Compressor? :( I refilled the wifes A/C (C900 vert) today through the same gauges with success, so fortunately she'll be cool(top priority!)... But mine....wants to make me suffer... any thoughts?
