I replaced the AC compressor clutch and bearing

Well I finally did it. The bearing in my compressor's pulley was going bad at 85k miles, but the system worked like a charm. I'm one of those people that don't buy the curiously common wisdom that various parts vendors and shops like to spew about how you MUST replace the whole thing with your bearing/clutch fails.
So I bought a used one on FleaBay for a mere $130 bucks with a guarantee. I took the pulley off, cleaned it up and installed it in less than 2 hours. While I can't say it was the easiest of repairs, it was really just tedious due to the amount of stuff you have to remove to get access to it.
For anyone with this problem, I do reccomend this repair. Only time will tell how long it will actually last, but so far it has made great financial sense. 200 in parts compared to 800 in parts and untold labor? I still don't see the ratioinale behind the 'may as well replace it all' plan...
