No Check Engine Light (CEL) and no other electrical gremlins like lights flashing or anything. Just cranks and no catch/fire starting things up. Thought I heard the pump but will check.

Finally back to a main PC to search and post, and it appears that the following suspects are possible -

Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS)
Fuel Pump
Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR)
Ignition Switch
Battery
Direct Ignition Cassette (DIC)

When I get home from work, I will stop by the car and HOPE that it starts right up. This will most likely indicate that it is the CPS. When I was able to pop the clutch the first time, it was after I let it sit for a few minutes waiting for my tow. The attempts before it would not fire, so the waiting may have helped. It then sat overnight/all-day, and fired up for the short commute I had. Sat a few hours, and another short commute home. Sat overnight, and then left, upon the beginning (slightly longer than those previous commutes) of a long trip is when it died and I since tried to jump. Again, hopefully I will hope in the car and it will fire after sitting there for a day! If yes, I will either swap the CPS on my 97 to there until I get one delivered. If not, I will tow home and search other options.

As mentioned, I think I can cross off the DIC and battery from the above list, as a swap and a jump doesn't appear to have solved things.

As for fuel, I thought I heard the pump going, but will have to examine further when I go to start it.

No electrical gremlins, all lights and functions work, just no start. Also no CEL, and therefore no codes to look for.

I report back if I track it down tonight. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

Sean
