That is why I write. I try and avoid taking those panels off at all cost. I've already thought about that, and think if they are taken out too many times, then I'll have to replace them and they are indeed very costly. OK. So my plan is very simply to jack as high up as I can from the nose until I can tilt the jack stand with the wooden cushion on and lower the car onto it. So, I ask once again. How is it feel when the car is jacked that high (24 inches, as you say) off the ground on the jack from the nose? Is it well balanced and all? Do you put some bricks behind the rear wheels or just use the handbrake? Thanks KenS
