The 4-cyl is getting parted out. So I will have the engine and whatever I need. The estimate I got for a used engine for the SE was up to $1,000 and $500 to put it in. Which is $1,000 more than what I'm willing.

I would junk it in a second if the body and interior weren't in such great shape. The V6 being a POS I'd rather have a 4-cyl in there and drive it as is.

I was wondering if the tranny would fit the 4. As far as research goes I know it needs the ECU swapped, harness shouldn't be that big of a deal, I've got the power steering pump et cetera.

My only concern would be the engine mounts matching.
