Hey there,
So last week i did a turbo upgrade on my 1997 900 NG..We had a tiny bit of coolant seepage from one of the coolant banjo bolts on the turbo..This was resolved with a "tweak" on the banjo bolt. I drove home from my buddies shop (1hr) away, parked the car overnight. The following morning i checked for coolant leaks, oil leaks, etc, and everything was bone dry. I took the car out just one night or so, re-checked for coolant leaks, etc, and everything was perfect. So now comes the snow in the great NE!The car went inside a garage for a couple of days. The concrete floor is dry everywhere. A couple of days later, i go and jack up the front of the car to check and plug slow leaks in both front tires. With that done, i lower the car back down. The next morning, i back the car out and i have a decent sized antifreeze puddle on garage floor. The turbo area and lines appear to be perfect. The coolant seemed to be coming from the crossmember, like right in front of the firewall. This is well behind the motor. The heater hoses going in to the heater core seem to be dry.I let the car run in the driveway to operating temp, with heat on, and can only see 1 drop of coolant on the crossmember. This probably was residual.Could jacking up a car, have anything to do with this?..I would not think so..This is silly!!..Any suggestions, thoughts, ideas?.Thanks in advance. These Saab sites are great..)
