Hi,
When you have 11.5Volts remove the wire from the Alternator D+ terminal and measure the following:-
1) D+ terminal on the Alternator if you have 11.5V here then there is probably a leaking diode. Reading your other posts I assume its your original alternator with a new VR?
2) Measure the voltage at removed D+ wire should now be 13.3V and the battery light Off
3) Ground the removed D+ wire Battery light should be On
