Ok I'm at a loss for this one and I've done everything I can think of.
The only thing I have done today as far as working on the car was to attempt to remove the oil pressure gauge fittings at the back of the block so I was by the starter and alternator. I didn't touch those or do anything to them to my knowledge. I did disconnect the battery at the positive terminal but hooked it back up afterwards. I also had the ACC out, the Radio, the SID, and e-light all out and disconnected from the wiring harness as I was prepping for pulling the dash if I had any luck in getting moving on the gauges. Put everything back together and locked the car.
Now fast forward 3 hours. Goto the car and unlock it. Turn the key to the on position and everything came on perfectly fine. Turn to start and instantly dead. Nothing, no lights, no power, no nothing. Try again just incase nothing. Barely a flicker or anything on the internal lighting. Checked all fuses in the car and in the engine bay including the maxi fuses by the battery and none are blown.
Pull my moms van up and hook up to jump. 9-3 comes back to life with all the light blinking and interior on full. Turn the key to on and all is normal. Turn to start and the same thing. Dead and even with the van still running no matter what position the key is at dead. No action even at start.
Starter, ground strap, alternator, battery? I don't know. Not a clue. This is a whole new one. I need help.
And to add insult to injury now my moms hood on the van won't fully latch. The only thing holding it is the safety latch. This is not a good night and I have to get Collin tomorrow as Lauren and both grandparents are working. Bet my ass will be driving slow if I have to take the van with the gimped up hood. 9k is dead as a nail with a battery issue and a leaking power steering system.
