2000 9-3 Standard tran. Just had the engine rebuilt, and the clutch/slave cylinder replaced new. I STILL have this obnoxious problem where the car won't go into reverse easily at all. The only way I can get it into reverse is rolling the car back and shifting at the same time. I've asked before, and didn't get any clear response. I did do the shifter alignment procedure several times and it didn't help any. Replaced fluid with royal purple - didn't help any. Doesn't seem to be a fluid or clutch issue.
Could someone please give me a heads up on this? I've been ripped off for so many problems on this car whenever I take it someplace to have it fixed without knowing the exact problem ahead of time. Thanks in advance for any information on this issue and how I might get it fixed.
