Hello all-

I have a 2000 9-3 base which I plan to upgrade to the AS3 6 speaker audio. I found the stock amp and 8-pin DiN cable both used on ebay, now I am considering speakers for the doors. A lot of folks on this board seem to be using Infinity 2 way or other 3 way 6.5" speakers, but as I read, those should be mid-bass speakers as the stock amp filers out everything >300hZ or so - therefore 2- or 3- way speakers don't really produce anything but 1 way in that configuration.

The only near match I could find for the range is the Kicker SSMB6, which are straight up 6.5" midwoofers. They are also free-air mount which seems like it might work well without the original door mounts. Has anyone used these? What did you think?
