I can't speak conclusively to the bleed order for your Viggen, but my '98 900 has the same order you listed, as with every other car I have every owned. I think it mostly has to do with the location of the master cylinder in relation to the brake calipers. So the only time there would be a difference would be if the car was right hand drive.
I recently bled my brakes at all four corners after doing a front brake job (pads and rotors). I did the fronts while I still had the wheels off and the front of the car on jack stands. But did the backs with the rear wheels on the ground to save some time. If you can get to the bleed valves without taking the wheels off, I see no harm as long as you have a rag and cleaner handy to wipe off the drips.
Hope this helps!
The extra bit of hose that came with my Motive bleeder fit the valves perfectly, 5/16" would be my guess.
And I only had to pump the Motive once during the bleed. I did the front two calipers, the pressure had dropped to about 8 psi so I pumped it back up to 10 and did the backs. That was pushing new fluid all the way to each caliper and let letting it run out a while to make sure the lines were well flushed.
