... I probably wouldn't run it more than 5,000 mi. In your favor, hwy miles are the "easiest" miles for any engine to tolerate. So, unless perhaps you're vacationing in Death Valley, I wouldn't worry about using the fresh 0W-30 for your trip. Any 0W-xx oil is going to be "synthetic" (either Group III or Group IV, since neither Group I nor Group II/II+ will achieve 0W flow) & will provide decent protection for 5,000 mi.

Not in your favor is the unknown BG oil. I've done enough personal research & study that I really don't put any stock in any mechanic's opinion of synthetics. "Rated higher" means nothing. Show me test data & I can compare that to known results for other products. From my research, I'd stick with either Mobil 1 or Amsoil "real" full syn products. (There are other great oils too, but these two are the easiest to get here in the US).

I would take along a qt of 15W-50 on the trip & check the oil level as often as is practical (w/o getting too carried away). Your 10 yr old engine might consume the 0W-30 at a higher rate than what you're used to with the more robust oils you usually use. Adding 15W-50 when you need to top up will "toughen-up" the 0W-30 & is completely safe to mix in with it.

And to answer your previous post's question:
I have run M1 15W-50 down to about 0F in my '90 C900. It was OK, but the engine did struggle to run a little bit more than when I have something comparable to 0W/5W-40 in it. My neighbor always ran Amsoil 20W-50 in his twin-turbo Mistubishi 3000 GT, & he never garaged his car even when it got down to -15F here (Northern Colorado). A little farther south & I'd say use 15W-50, but in MD I'd probably just stick with 5W-40 year round. It eliminates the hassle of switching & it's absolutely one of the best oils you can use in your '99.
