I did not know (it was my first time) how much to loosen the bleed valve. It is easy to know on the calipers because as you loosen it, you see the fluid coming out, so that you are sure you've loosened it enough.
Since this is reverse bleeding, It was harder. I loosened it too much until it came out. It was good because I could see how small the little hole was. Now I put it all back in, and did the insertion of the fluid through the bleed valve with a 60ml syringe and a tube attached to it. I did it until I saw blue fluid in the reservoir. I then bled the brakes, and as far as I know it went very smoothly.
Problem is, my clutch does not work. What went wrong? Did I let air in there? Did I loosen it too much? How much should I loosen it, and at what rate should I be injecting the fluid?
I realize I have a few questions here. Anything you can answer of great help, and I intend to do a small write up to help someone else who will be doing this sometime in the future.
I really do not want to tow my car to the mechanic, nor do I think I will need it...let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance,
Bender
