Well, if the friction point is at the same elevation as it's ever been, but the whole operation of the pedal has less friction, that's GOOD.

If the actual friction point of the clutch is lower, that can be air still in the lines. Try another bleeding technique with a helper to pump the pedal. Maybe this will work...?

Get a hose & a catch bottle for the slave bleeder. Wrap a string around the clutch pedal to pull it up.

Pump the pedal & hold it down. (bubbles potentially go down towards the slave).

Hold it there for a minute(?) to allow those bubbles rise a little by gravity.

While holding the pedal down, open the bleeder just long enough to expel some fluid. As soon as the fluid almost stops flowing, immediately close the bleeder.

Use the string to pull the pedal up, but CONTROL it with your foot. Don't let it snap upwards.

Keep the reservoir full. You've already noticed that the clutch has it's own little area inside the fluid reservoir. That's dammed-off from the rest so the clutch can go dry while the rest of the reservoir still looks pretty full.
