I'm sure your disc brakes are not the problem here, it's the drum brake inside the rear rotors used for the emergency brake system. Mine has started doing the same thing in the cold. Solution would be to fix the sticking pads or perhaps cable, or do what I do and just avoid the situations that cause it to happen. Much cheaper!
