Here's a pic of the cylinder walls - they all look the same to my eye. I don't see any damage to the one that broke but i think I got lucky there with the break being so clean and down at the bottom of the skirt.
Someone on another site suggested that since the honing is so noticeable and not glazed over after 100,00 km that maybe this engine was already rebuilt once.
I am going to mic the cylinders this afternoon and see if they were bored.
The cylinders look to be in such good shape that I was hoping to not have to pull the block; I was just going to put new bearings and pistons in with the block still in the car, and clean up the head myself and pop it back on.
