What's so bad about the T7? Is the reason you say

go for a 1999 because the engines weren't prone to sludge, and headbolt issues etc? I have a Viggen, and the T7 hasn't been any problems. If anything, the things that bugs me about the T5 is that the DI cassette is so much more expensive (the red one). I've only had one issue with my throttle body going into limp home mode, but that was it. Just better engines, or more reliable?
