On the NG900 and later on the OG9-3 and 9-5, the genuine water pump came with the pump housing/impeller and also the rear housing that mates to the engine block as a complete unit.
The after market pumps never came with the rear housing being Graf, Hepu, Meyle or any other.
The only difference between the NG900 and the OG9-3/9-5 pump is the rear housing and how the later have a hole to fit the coolant pipe to turbo.
Saab have now decided to drop the rear housing on their genuine pumps and therefore, the pump offered will fit all three models using the same part number and you just move the rear housing over just like you did if you would have bought an after market pump.
Since the hole for turbo cooling is in the rear housing, it is no big deal unless the rear housing is so corroded that you have to have a new one. In that case it has to be ordered separately.
Unfortunately, they didn't drop the price at all when dropping the rear housing.
