You need the correct radio removal tools, which are also used by a lot of Fords, so they're not hard to find. They're just u-shaped metal pieces with little hooks at the end that push into those four holes. The SID doesn't even need to come out. You don't have to worry about any codes in the 9-3 or re-marrying it.
Some people have used bent coat hangers pushed into the holes to get the radio out, but I've never had much luck with that.
