Just writing to tell you readers that I'm pretty proud of myself for successfully tearing apart half the car to replace a single burned out instrument panel bulb (1999 Stage 3 9-3)

For those of you who are compelled to undertake the same project, I would recommend following the advice posted by SteveH on May 15 2004 (search the board). The process is not for the squeamish. You'll have a mere shell of a dasbboarh in front of you with many parts lying about when you finally get to the cluster. Take your time, don't force anything, and definately plan on a couple hours time to accomplish the work.

Per his advice, I also removed the "shift up" light bulb while I was in there.

PS Oh-and I'm feeling even better that I got all the gizmos and gadgets to go back in the right order and in the right places!
