Back in the old days with my trusty 88 900 [275k] the replacement solution for a power antenna was to go to Radio Shack and buy one of their replacement
power antenna. They have nothing of the sort anymore. Things have changed. No longer do the tech-no-wiz guys have ball points in their pocket pen protectors. Now they carry pocket sized computers there. During its 3 year vacation from the road, my 96 SET got its power antenna broken off. The motor still runs when the radio is turned on and I can still get jazz on the local NPR station. However, to reach the jazz in Toronto, I have to put a new power antenna mast up. What I want to know, is what the "Radio Shack Solution" for 2009.
