2000 9-3 2.0T, 165K miles
Hi all - I recently completed a complete flush and rinse with Auto Rx using Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 full synthetic all the way through the cycle with smooth running and no problems, and just changed to Mobil 1 0W-40 after the flush process due to all the good recommendations it gets here. Just 500 miles later the oil is down about 2 quarts. I can't see any visible leaks, the plug and filter are tight, maybe it's burning but I don't see it in the exhaust?
Anyone experience this problem or any ideas? Is 0W-40 just too thin? Should I keep adding the M1 and checking, or change back to the Pennzoil ASAP?
Thanks!
