Step-by-step instructions for the cabin air filter are linked below. Note, I did not find it necessary to unbolt the wiper motor on my 2001 - you just have to do a bit of maneuvering to get the filters out of and into their housing.
I replaced the OEM cloth filter with a cheaper aftermarket paper filter, but people say you can wash and re-use the cloth filters. I saved mine and will probably try that whenever the paper one eventually gets clogged.
